He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin H. Brown and Ercell Ward Brown; his son Robert Brown; and his brothers, Jimmy Brown, Calvin Brown, Herbert Brown, Vance Brown and Roy Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Billie Sue Brown; his daughters, Peggy Love (Clyde) of Florida and Cathy Forte of Florida; his stepchildren, Rita Smith (Dale) of Lexington, SC and Robert Newton (Tara) of West Columbia, SC; his grandchildren, Kristina Bouphasavanh (Sithy), Kimberly Price (Robert), Jason Love (Lisa), Timothy Love (Janel), Jacob (Tina) and Ryan; and his brother Gene Brown (Donna) of California. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel (7600 Woodrow St, Irmo, SC 29063). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
