It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Rita (Kaplan) Walman of Irmo, South Carolina, who passed away on May 6, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Ira Walman; and her parents, Allan Kaplan and Shirley Kaplan. She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Berkowitz (Steven) and Laura Gardy (Jason); her grandchildren, Asher Gardy, Sari Berkowitz, Lane Gardy, Seth Berkowitz and Harrison Berkowitz; and her sister Karen Kaplan.
