She was predeceased by: her parents, John Robert Strickland and Bernice May Cobb Strickland; and her sisters, Linda Kirby, Lucille Herring, Jemima Miles and Pearline Bethune.
She is survived by: her son John Sigler of West Columbia; her nieces and nephews, Sheldon Kirby (Michelle) of Holly Springs, NC, Thomas Kirby (Ivonne) of Chevy Chase, Maryland, Nancy Gause, Nina Altman and Diane Pardue; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ashlyn Kirby, Grayson Kirby and Makayla Kirby.
