In the vast expanse of eternity, Mary shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mary farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her granddaughter Ellen Louise Bugg. She is survived by: her husband John LaFond; her children, Jeannette LaFond Bugg (Robert) and Philip LaFond (Jessica); and her grandchildren, Carter Bugg, Julie Bugg and Marie LaFond.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the Chapin Garden Club or Lake Murray Presbyterian Church.
