With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maxwell Joseph Lampl (Irmo, South Carolina), who passed away on December 10, 2021 at the age of 23. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: Kathleen Schelhammer. He is survived by: his parents, George W. Lampl, III and Patricia Hames Lampl of Lexington; his sister Margaret A. Lampl; his grandparents, Herbert J. Hames and Llewellyn Hiott Hames of Chapin; his aunts and uncles, Annette Nash, Jennifer Wornat, Tamela Hames, Herbert J. Hames, Jr., Richard Wornat and Kenneth Nash; his cousins, Hiott Hames, Kael Wornat, Jacob Hames, Wesley Hames and Jonathan Nash; and also George W. Lampl, Jr.. He is also survived by other relatives and dear friends.

Memorials may be made to the Cardinal Newman School baseball program.
