Though Melissa may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Melissa touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her son Baby Boy Brazell; and her stepson Ian Kerr. She is survived by: her husband Jason Kerr; her daughter Megan Brazell; her parents, Skeeter Hinson of Myrtle Beach, SC and Linda (Arnie Kupcs); her siblings, Terri Matthews and Ricky Hinson; her mother-in-law Becky Kerr of Spartanburg, SC.; and her stepchildren, Joshua Kerr, Holly Kerr, Tara Coolidge and Amanda Haltiwanger.
