She is survived by: her mother Roslin Mingo; her husband David Dewitte of Columbia, SC.; her siblings, Lorene Mingo of Columbia, SC, Jeffrey Mingo of Orangeburg, SC, Joseph Mingo Jr. of Ehrhardt, SC, Diane Mingo-Bamberg (Clyde) of Ehrhardt, SC and Melvin Mingo (Grace) of Ehrhardt, SC; her sister-in-law Shirley Mingo of Bamberg, SC.; her uncle James Mingo (Jeri) of Gilbert, SC.; her daughter Adrienne Byrd-Nickerson (Preston) of Columbia, SC.; her grandchildren, Jayden, Dominic Hyman, Alexis and Amara Byrd; and her close friends, Linda Lee Amos, Serecea Parker "Cee Cee", Deidre Breedlove "Dee Dee", Glenda Washington and Debra Dickens. She is also survived by 1 great-grandchild, A host of nieces, nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dunbar Funeral Home - Dutch Fork Chapel (7600 Woodrow St, Irmo, SC 29063). Viewing will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
