We announce the death of Paul Lee Nelson of Irmo, South Carolina, who passed away on August 14, 2026, at the age of 71. Paul will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Pascal Nelson and Rosa Lee Vaughn Nelson; and his half-siblings, George Nelson, Louise and Margie.
He is survived by: his wife Myra Horne Nelson; his son Christopher Paul Nelson (Sarah Skinner); his grandchildren, Ashe and Freya Nelson; his brother Pascal Nelson (Deborah); his niece Tabitha; and his nephew Reuben.
