She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert "Bob" Weldon Cowsert Sr. and Zelda Gleaton Cowsert; her brother Robert "Bobby" W. Cowsert Jr.; and her brother-in-law James "Jimmie" A. Harrison II. She is survived by: her children, Lanny Ray Gunter II and Nicole Gunter Kokolis (Michael Howell); her grandchildren, Gresham Gunter, Julia Kokolis, Emmalee Gunter, Gracie Kokolis, Weldon Gunter and Cole Kokolis; her siblings, Clark Cowsert (Jayne), Emily Harrison and Ann Martin (Henry); her sisters-in-law, Lucy Barfield and Frankie Cowsert; and her nephews, Brian Cowsert, Robbie Cowsert, Jim Harrison and Ben Martin. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Chapin Christian Community Church (415 Lexington Ave, Chapin, SC 29036). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
