It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert B. Dorn Jr. (Irmo, South Carolina), born in Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on June 2, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Annie Slice Dorn; his daughters, Donna Brazell (Mike), Chrystal Bouknight (John) and Leisa Ricketts (Ricky); his grandchildren, Erin Wackerhagen (Dan), Justin Brazell (Rebekah), Jamie Bouknight (Sara), Bradley Bouknight (Rachel), Christopher Ricketts (Mariah), Daniel Ricketts (Catherine Higgins) and Anna Leigh Hare (Michael); his great grandchildren, Daniel, Caroline Wackerhagen, Grace, Colton, Jordan Brazell, Landon Bouknight, Kohner, Jay Bouknight, Aiden, Dakota Davis and McKenzie Hare; and his siblings, Richard Dorn and Mary Kay Grooms.

“In loving memory of Bob (Fast Eddie) Dorn. I had the pleasure of working with him at McEntire ANGB before I went back on active duty. A good friend, awesome pilot and a true patriot. I will miss seeing him and his devoted granddaughter at the retiree luncheon. It was interesting to learn of him being a Flying Tiger during the Vietnam War.”
