He is survived by: his wife Jeannette Harrelson Rhodes; his daughter Elizabeth Ann Rhodes Townsend (Michael) of Irvine, CA; his grandsons, Bryan Rhodes Townsend of Raleigh, NC, Nolan Ross Townsend of Irvine, CA and David Eli Townsend of Irvine, CA; his sister Laura Rhodes Staples; and his nephews, Bryan Sean Staples of Columbia and Andrew Kyle Staples (Brittany) of Columbia.
