She was predeceased by: her parents, William Shannon and Cora Ruth Nates Shannon; her former husband Lester Dwight Bunton; her husband Highland Hardee; her son Dwight Franklin "Frank" Bunton; and her siblings, Patsy Denny, Bill Shannon and Fred Shannon.
She is survived by: her daughter Debra "Debbie" Joan Bunton Mims (Rick); her grandchildren, Melissa Joan Mims Vickers (Josh) and Lindsay Pearl Mims; her great grandchildren, Ben, James, Landon and Amelia Vickers; and her brothers, Tommy Shannon (Lois), Sam "Buddy" Shannon (Patti) and Jerry Shannon (Cynthia). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
