He was predeceased by: his significant other Corinne; his parents, Stacy Ouzts Sr. and Virginia Ouzts (Carlisle); his in-laws, Lona and Farrell Peterson; and his siblings-in-law, Margaret Wadley (Jerald Wadley) and Dewin Harris.
He is survived by: his siblings, David (Lynell), Regina Ouzts, Leora Ouzts and Barbara Harris; his sister-in-law Pam Taggart (Laird); and his children, Robb (Teresa), Lisa Allen (Chris), Julie, Janet Brown (Rob), Jon (Sue), Peter (Kamy), James (Gabby), Rachael Lau (Steve) and Stephen (Shari). He is also survived by 31 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (7449 Broad River Rd, Irmo, SC 29063). A burial was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fort Jackson National Cemetery.
In his later years and as his Parkinson's advanced, he enjoyed family gatherings at his home where he would join his young grandchildren in indoor "snowball" fights.
