He is survived by: his wife Amy Holt Garrett; his daughter Marybeth Garrett CroweTipton (Jared); his grandson Noah Matthew; and his siblings, Elizabeth "Beth" McDaniel (Curt), Dr. Leland "Lee" Garrett, Jr. (Nancy) and Dale Garrett (Diane).
