He was predeceased by: his parents, John Arthur Gillam and Mildred Ethel Kennemore Gillam; and his brothers, John A. Gillam, Jr. and David T. Gillam. He is survived by: his wife Patricia O. Gillam; his daughter Kimberly A. Carpenter; and his granddaughter Skylar LeAnne Carpenter.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Episcopal Church of St. Simon (1110 Kinley Rd, Irmo, SC 29063). A burial will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
