We bid farewell to Bobbie Thrasher of Iva, South Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 29, 2025 at the age of 93. Bobbie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Sloan and Gladys Stephens Sloan; her spouse Heyward Thrasher; her siblings, Steve Sloan, Guynell King, Doris Rogers and Louise Fennel; and her daughter-in-law Agnes Lollis Thrasher.
She is survived by: her children, Lewis Heyward Thrasher, David Ron Thrasher (Alma L.), Timothy Ray Thrasher (Michelle L.) and Dorothy Faye McCoy (Kenneth); and her siblings, Joel Sloan (Thomas Sloan), Ruby Greene and Judy Kelley. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sosebee Mortuary (204 E Green St, Iva, SC 29655). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
