She was predeceased by: her parents, Catherine Whitman and Ellis "Buck" Whitman; her husband Clifton Gentry, Jr.; her children, Edward Gentry and Sandra Bratcher; and her brother Harold Whitman.
She is survived by: her children, Harold "Doodle" Gentry (Martha), Bobby Gentry (Lisa), Samantha Bowman and Tony Gentry; and her siblings, Sarah Martin (Tommy), Charlotte White (James), Ludeal Sanders and Mary Aderhold. She is also survived by her children and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
