We are sad to announce that on April 29, 2026, at the age of 84, Major Lee Brown of Iva, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Brown and Willie Lee Green Brown; his children, Tony Randall Brown (Jackie) and Sherry Lynn McKellar; and his siblings, Wink Brown, Jerry Brown and Pat Martin.
He is survived by: his spouse Dale Maxwell Brown; his sister Cola McGill; his son-in-law Bill McKellar; his grandchildren, Stephanie Snow (Bubba), Julianna Tucker (Justin) and Quinton Brown (Savannah); his great grandchildren, Railynn Snow, Gabe Parks, Summer Snow, Elliott Brown and Olivia Tucker; and his pet Tracy.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Asaville Baptist Church (201 Asaville Church Rd, Anderson, SC 29621). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
