He was predeceased by : his father James Morris "Slim" Atkins; and his grandparents, Monroe White, Mary Lunsford White, George Tinsley Atkins and Margaret Greenway Atkins.
He is survived by : his mother Frances Lillian Atkins; his daughter Cheyenne Elizabeth Atkins; his grandchild Everlee; and his siblings, Steve Atkins, Curtis Atkins (Donna), Deborah Machen and Susan Sears (Billy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
