He is survived by: his wife Linda Ellen Jones Vaughn; his children, Robert W. Vaughn, Jr. (Christie) of Liberty, SC, Chris Vaughn (Laura) of Iva, SC, Shelli Fleming (Jason) of Lowndesville, SC, Blake West (Maria) of Ransom, W. VA and Jason M. West of Jackson, TN; his sister Joyce Elaine Sherer (Larry) of Easley, SC; and his grandchildren, Jacob, Josh, Jordan, Megan, Justin, Thomas, Matt, Brady, Brooklyn, Elizabeth, C'Anna, Ethan, Hunter, John, Madison and Robbie.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Abbeville - Harris Funeral Home (302 N Main St, Abbeville, SC 29620). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at the Long Cane Cemetery (329 Hwy 20, Abbeville, SC 29620).
