He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles "Charlie" William Bruce, Sr. and Elizabeth Duffell Simpson; and his sisters, Charlotte B. Terry and Inez Bruce. He is survived by : his sisters, Jane Hanvey (Ed) of Greenwood and Dianne Craft (Milton) of Piedmont. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
