She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Lee and Velma Olivia Hopkins Pitts; and her siblings, Neil, Wilbur, Charles, Carl, Arthur, Martha Henderson, Betty Gibert and Janet Copeland.

She is survived by: her brother John Pitts (Marie) of Ware Shoals. She is also survived by seventeen nieces and nephews.
