With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alvin James Simmons Sr. of James Island, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 18, 2025 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Simmons and Aida Mitz Simmons; his wife Rosalyn C. Simmons; and his siblings, Pat Lindberg (Tom), Carolyn Simmons, Judy Simmons, Brenda Simmons, Ramona Simmons, Wilbur Simmons, Harry Simmons, Billy Simmons and Kenny Simmons.
He is survived by: his son Alvin James Simmons Jr. (Al); and his sister Janette Molizon.
