Dorothy Scott Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 26, 2025, Dorothy Scott of James Island, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Lee Wells and Louise Wells Nelson. She is survived by: her husband George E. Scott; her children, Janice D. Scott and James E. Scott (Vivianne); and her grandchildren, Kevin L. Scott, Joshua R. Scott, Jasmine Tribble, James E. Scott, Jr., Janet E. Scott, Jaheima Scott, Josephine D. Mazyck, James R. Able and Javier K. Able.

Viewing will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Voice of Hope Worship Center (249 St Philip St, Charleston, SC 29403). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
