He is survived by: his wife Audrey Simmons; his mother Evelyn Simmons; his children, Lavelle Phyall, Latisha Wilson, Sharonda Wilson, Andrew C. Simmons, Jr., Lamont Wilson, Andre Durell Simmons, Letonya Nixon and Ashley Nixon Miller; and his siblings, Deacon Roosevelt "Rabb" Greene (Mary), Almena Gourdine, Otis Greene, Vivian Liddell (Rudy) and Arnold Simmons (Gladys). He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
