He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Seagren Swain and Raymond Swain; and his siblings, Robert, Donald, Raymond, David, Gary, Carl and Ethel Backus.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey (Elaine), Benjamin Swain (Sarah) and Kristina Swain (David Carlin); his stepsons, Evaldas Dragunas and Irmantas Dragunas (Chad Rushmeyer); his grandchildren, Patrick, Lauren "Kelsey", Rachel and Evan; and his siblings, James Swain and Nancy Jager.
A Mass will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Stella Maris Catholic Church (1204 Middle St, Sullivan's Island, SC 29482).
