He was predeceased by : his parents, Jesse Clifton Deese and Katheryn Green Deese Madden; his sons, Jason, Cory and Danny, Jr.; and his brothers, Dale Deese and Mitchell Madden.

He is survived by : his wife Mary Childers Deese; his children, Kathy Wright (Pete) and John Deese (Katlyn); his brothers, Jeffrey Deese (Brenda) and Scottie Deese (Amy); and his sister-in-law Eunice Deese. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
