He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Smith; his children, Lisa Veal (Brock), Michelle Keeter (Tony), Jeffrey Smith (Dana), Todd Smith and Robbie Hinson (Allison); and his siblings, Danny Smith and Carol Plyler. He is also survived by 42 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the White Plains Baptist Church (3470 White Plains Church Rd, Jefferson, SC 29718). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
