With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rosemary Markway Kelpe in Jefferson, South Carolina, who passed away on July 7, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Sheriff Ben S. Markway and Jenny Eveler Markway; and her brother Lee. She is survived by : her brother Robert; her husband Fred W. Kelpe; her sister-in-law Mart Markway; and her nieces and nephews, Bob (Cathy Markway), Jim (Diane Markway), Rick (Susan Markway), Susan (Kerry Rotolo), Ann (Ben Cowen) and Mary (Roger Turnham). She is also survived by 14 great-nieces and nephews; and 20 great-great-nieces and nephews.
