He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Murphy and Callie Putnam Murphy; his wife Zander; and his great grandchild Landon Nelson. He is survived by: his children, Scott Murphy (Sheri) of Prosperity, Lynn Mosteller (Randy) of Elloree and Angie Nelson (Wade) of Clinton; his siblings, Bruce Murphy (Gloria) of Ninety Six and Gail Murphy of Clinton; and his grandchildren, Karen Grantham (Kenn), Chris Nelson (Melissa), Josh Nelson, Jordan Murphy, Maranda Kowalski (Shawn) and Jacob Murphy (Liliana). He is also survived by his eight great-grandchildren.
