He was predeceased by: his parents, John Arnold Robertson and Wilma Johnson; his son Stephen Lynn Robertson; his siblings, Margaret Sue Pollard and John Arnold Robertson, Jr.; and his cousin Oscar Still.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Saffle Robertson; his children, Ben Robertson, Jr. and Barbara Hunter (Joe); his grandsons, Paul (Tony), Ben Robertson III (Colleen) and Kyle Robertson; his great grandchildren, Jasmine Robertson, Addyson Tuttle and Layne Tuttle; his nephew John Robertson III; his niece Elizabeth Pollard (Betty); and his cousin Ben Linthicum (Kaky).
