He was predeceased by: his parents, Madeline Schink (Lear) and William Schink; his former wife Edeltraud "Trudy" Schink (Wagner); and his sister Claire Wahlquist (Lear). He is survived by: his wife Ingrid Elke Schink (Eickrodt); his children, Rosalie Schink, Linda Ellis and Willett Richter (Kelley); his grandchildren, Emily Ellis, Rebecca Gauvin (Dan), Casey Mitchell (Glen), Ryan Richter and Kyle Richter; his great grandchildren, Savannah Richter, Melody Mitchell and Zach Gauvin; and his nieces, Cyndi Rivas and Elise Breyette.
