He was predeceased by: his mother Mamie Dennis. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Dennis; his mother-in-law Emma Gadsden; his children, Shauntay Dunning (Jeremy) and Jessie Brown, II; his grandchildren, Shiann, Jaiden, Ayanna, Kingston and Karter Dunning; his sister Rev. Joann Fields; his brothers-in-law, Harry Gadsden, Harold Gadsden, Lugman Rasheed (Ajeenah), Johnny Gadsden and Steven Gadsden (Samantha); his nieces, Robin Tyus, Nahkia Echols (Andre) and Monicanne Lee (Travis); his nephew Gerald O. Fields; and his cousins, David Ferguson (Carmen) and Joyce Bryan. He is also survived by grandnieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Smith-McNeal Funeral Chapel (2119 Dorchester Rd, North Charleston, SC 29405).
