With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mary Craven of Johns Island, South Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Mary left this world on August 8, 2025 at the age of 80, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Daisy Carter Craven and Lawton J. Craven, Sr.; and her brothers, Lawton J. Craven, Jr. and Benjamin E. Craven Sr.. She is survived by: her sibling's children, Benjamin Craven (Cindy) and Cynthia Shiell (Jamie); her great-nephews, Johnathan White (Makayla) and Leland Shiell; her great-niece Summer Shiell; and also Annelaine White.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McAlister-Smith Funeral Home (2501 Bees Ferry Rd, Charleston, SC 29414). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
