Though David may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those David touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Causey Ray and Sadie Bell Taylor Ray; and his daughter Linda Lenora Sullivan. He is survived by: his children, Deborah Cremer (George) of Williamston, Jennifer Newton (Matthew) of Piedmont, Denise Ray of Georgetown and David L. Ray II (Sabrina) of Georgetown; and his sister Edith Cooper of Andrews. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
