It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Rhames (Johnsonville, South Carolina), who passed away on October 28, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Rhames and Curtis Venters Rhames; his daughter Teresa Powell; and his siblings, Betty Thompson, Eva Ray, Ernestine Owens and Bubba Rhames.
He is survived by: his children, Rickey Rhames and Lisa Parsons (James); his brother Bill Rhames; and his close friend Sharon. He is also survived by four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Vox United Methodist Church (1858 Vox Hwy, Johnsonville, SC 29555).
