We are sad to announce that, on February 8, 2026, at the age of 49, Robert Earl Avant of Johnsonville, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Robert shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Robert farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his father Earl Gwen Avant; and his brother-in-law James Willis. He is survived by: his mother Mollie Mae Avant Richardson; his fiancée Joni Abrams; his sisters, Tammy Marlow (Trent), Hope Willis and Dawn Coleman (Mitchell); and his mother-in-law Elaine Owens Todd. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in memory of Mr. Avant to Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC.
