With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Nicholas Adams of Kershaw, South Carolina, born in Lancaster, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 12, 2025 at the age of 48. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, David Sowell and Idell Adams. He is survived by: his mother Vickie Sowell Geiger; his children, Savannah Hope Adams of Kershaw, SC and Carson James Adams of Olar, SC; his siblings, Melissa Adams (Chris) of Monroe, NC, Tonya Geiger of Kershaw, SC and Dwayne Geiger of Orangeburg, SC.; and his grandmother Emily Sowell of Kershaw, SC.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Baker Funeral Home (210 E Hilton St, Kershaw, SC 29067). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:15 PM at the Kershaw City Cemetery (190 Kirkland Ave, Kershaw, SC 29067).
