With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Margie Phillips Whitley of Kershaw, South Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie B. Phillips and Alice Idelle Phillips; her husband J. C. Whitley; and her daughter-in-law Celeste. She is survived by: her children, Jerry Whitley (Jan), Kenny Whitley, Keith Whitley (Pam) and Jason Whitley (Teresa); her grandchildren, Jennifer Baxley (Patrick), Jeremy Whitley, Brandy Ghent (Brad), Kerri Mackey (Brian), John Whitley (Melissa), Willis Whitley (Jessica), Kolby Whitley and Kade Whitley; and her brother Olin Phillips. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren, and twin great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Center Grove Baptist Church (6028 State Rd S-29-591, Kershaw, SC 29067). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
