He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson Jessie Payne, Sr. and Marion Russell Payne; and his brother Douglas Payne. He is survived by: his children, Joshua Payne (Darby), Amanda Payne (Daniel) and Jacob Payne; his former wife Alice Mattox (Tim); and his sister-in-law Lisa Payne.
