He is survived by: his wife Sue Wise Counts; his children, George Counts (Kay) of Kinards, Ray Counts (Linda) of Newberry and Cathy Counts Stone of Whitmire; his grandchildren, Christopher Counts (Megan), J. C. Counts (Bethany) and Abby Kesler (Barry); his great grandchildren, Summer Kesler, Savanna Kesler, Kylyn Counts and Haddie Counts of Charlie Counts, A. J; his sister-in-law Julia Counts; and his nephew Jim Counts.
