He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman G. Dawkins and Brunell Livingston Dawkins; and his son Jamie Dawkins. He is survived by: his wife Tora Hendrikson Dawkins; his daughter Tina Lynny Tucker of Newberry; his sister Ann Long of Pomaria; and his grandchildren, Ty Wise and Melissa Tucker.
