Ruby Farmer Crapps Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruby Farmer Crapps (Kinards, South Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 4, 2026 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Lee Farmer and Louise Whelchel Farmer; her daughter Karen Banks; her stepson Travis Crapps; her husband William Waits Jr. (Bill); and her siblings, Frances Traver, Mildred Morris, Edna Crolley, Lois Sirmans, Earl Farmer, Frank Farmer and Raymond Farmer.
She is survived by: her son Michael Long (Polly) of Charleston, SC; her son-in-law Tommy Banks of Clinton; and her stepchildren, Kippie Avinger (Wayne) of Kinards, Johnny Waits and Laura Hatton (Bill) of Simpsonville. She is also survived by five grandchildren and twelve step grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
