He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Virginia Davis and Auddie Cleveland Brown; and his brother Wentworth Edwards "Winn" Brown. He is survived by: his wife Sandra L. Brown; his children, Cliff Brown, Chris Brown (Wanda) of Kingstree, SC, Sara Webber (Will) and Sonya Lane (Brian) of Lexington, SC.; and his grandchildren, Davis Brown, Lane Brown, Austin Webber, Gibson Brown (Blakely), Mia Lane, Brennan Webber, Christina Brown, Marian Nell Easler and Tyson Funderburk.

Visitation was held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Williamsburg Funeral Home (332 E Main St, Kingstree, SC 29556). A graveside service was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Union Presbyterian Church Cemetery (4501 Martin Luther King Jr Ave, Salters, SC 29590).
