She was predeceased by: her parents, Fallie Tharp and Lillian Cantey (Epps); her former husband Harry H. Rodgers Sr.; and her siblings, Milton "Bubba" Cantey, Wallace Cantey, Bennie Fallie Cantey and Sybil Parrot.
She is survived by: her husband S. Marine Corp; her sons, Harry Herlong and Michael Tharp Rodgers (Maria); her grandsons, Christopher H. Rodgers and Michael J. Rodgers (Kelsey); her stepgrandchildren, Rachel E. Oertell, Dr. Adam G. Stone (Anka), Emily Stone and Diana Baker (Michael); her stepgreat-grandchildren, Eddie Oertell, Hailee Oertell, Brooke Stone, Ariana Baker and Melina Baker; and her niece Cindy Parrott.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Williamsburg Funeral Home (332 E Main St, Kingstree, SC 29556). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Williamsburg Presbyterian Church.
