He was predeceased by: his parents, Sinnott Oneal McCrea and Mattie Presley Scott McCrea; his wife Mary Winn; his daughter Naomi Louise "Luci" McCrea; his sisters, Brenda McCrea Scott and Linda Carolyn McCrea; and his nephew Rodney McCrea Morris.
He is survived by: his daughters, Wendy (Donald Sims) and Maggie (Phillip Harper) of Kingstree; his grandchildren, Danielle, Dexter Bryant of Kingstree, Megan, Warren Anderson of Manning, Caleb Harper of Kingstree, Emma Harper of Kingstree, Carson Sims of Kingstree and Ben Harper of Kingstree; his great grandchildren, Mattie, Gracie, Colt and Derry; his nephew Ronald Bryan Morris, Jr. of Turbeville; and his niece Chasey Brown (David) of Cheraw.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, May 31st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Tisdale Cemetery (615 County Rd S-45-291, Kingstree, SC 29556).
