He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry "Joe" Baylor and Frances Cantley Baylor; his daughter Erica Baylor; his granddaughter April Poston; and his son-in-law Eric Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Jill Martin Baylor; his children, Denise Wilson (Robbie) of Georgetown, SC, Tammi Thomas of Georgetown, SC and Ernie Baylor (Erica) of Syracuse, NY; his grandchildren, Stan Wilson (Abby), Lindsay Wilson (Wesley), Jillian Thomas, Macee McElveen (Edward), Mila Baylor and Liam Baylor; his great grandchildren, Pierce, Trace Poston, Nash, Blaze Thomas, Rebekah, Kerrigan Wilson, Olivia, Odin Wilson and Mack McElveen; and his siblings, Walter Baylor and Donna Jean Cox.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Williamsburg Funeral Home (332 E Main St, Kingstree, SC 29556). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Bloomingvale Baptist Church.
