It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald LaRue McKenzie (Kingstree, South Carolina), who passed away on December 11, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald L. McKenzie and Doris McCutcheon McKenzie. He is survived by: his wife Thelma Bryant McKenzie; his children, Pam Tisdale (Darren Tisdale), Becky Watts, Caroline McKenzie and Gary LaRue McKenzie (Erica McKenzie); his grandchildren, Bryant (Angela), Gill, AnnLaRue, Henderson, Jack, Cecilia, Piper, Cole and Deanna (Derrell); his great grandchildren, Lincoln, Isaac, Presley Kate and Colton; and his siblings, Mary Brown (David Brown), Ricky McKenzie and Harvey McKenzie (Hope).
