She is survived by: her children, Teresa "Sissy" Jordan (Rodney) of Sumter, SC and Mike Powell (Gwen) of Kingstree, SC; her grandchildren, Amber Vereen (Timmy), Chase Powell, Hannah Scott (Chandler) and Burgess Jordan; her great grandchildren, Chloe and Tripp Vereen; her siblings, Dicky Burgess (Olivia) of Midlothian, VA, Lamar William "Bill" Burgess, III of Kingstree and Gail McKnight (Leon) of Florence, SC; her brother-in-law Joe Reaves of Florence, SC; and her close friend Jamie Fulton of Andrews. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Kingstree Memorial Gardens (11095 Hemingway Hwy, Kingstree, SC 29556).
