He is survived by: his wife Rosana Dukes Gamble; his son Clifton Dukes of Salters, SC; his grandchildren, Mary Alice Rodgers of Salters, SC, Solomon Dukes of Fayetteville, NC, Josephine McKnight of Charleston, SC and John Dukes of Gourdine, SC; his nieces and nephews, Jimmy Gamble of Kingstree, SC, Bessie M. Gamble of Kingstree, SC, Patricia McFadden (Terrance) of Kingstree, SC, Gwendolyn Gamble of Kingstree, SC, Genice Gamble of Conway, SC and Charles Gamble of Myrtle Beach, SC; his great-nephew Jeremiah Morant (Shenita) of Fort Myers, FL; his cousins, Hessie Lee Keels, John Scott, Robert Wilson, Florine Brunson, Eva Mae Davis and Johnny Moore; and his close friend Thomasina York. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren; five sisters-in-law; nine brothers-in-law; one uncle.
